This is event-driven AWS serverless architecture demonstrating the use of S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Python 3.12 Lambda and DynamoDB.
Iām a Network Intelligence Analyst based in London with three years of enterprise experience at Friend MTS. Day-to-day, I dig into live traffic logs, inspect packets in Wireshark, and run CLI diagnostics to solve complex transport layer anomalies. I really enjoy taking what I learn at work and building out my own hands-on projects at home like setting up this portfolio with AWS serverless microservices.
I hold CompTIA Network+ and A+ certifications, and I'm currently grinding through independent study towards my CompTIA Security+ and AWS Solutions Architect Associate exams to keep levelling up my networking and cloud skillset.
I am proudly that person on the team who asks the "dumb" questions. Iād much rather clarify technical details early than assume, guess, or risk making a mistake later on. Mistakes are bound to happen, but taking accountability, learning from them, and moving forward is vital.
I thrive best when surrounded by experienced individuals I can learn from. I actively look for team cultures where I can absorb industry best practices, ask the right questions, and rapidly refine my technical capabilities.
Balancing full-time enterprise work with independent upskilling isn't always easy, but structured goal-setting gets it done. I break complex topics into firm milestones and strict deadlines to keep my progress consistent.
Designed and deployed this end-to-end serverless web app portfolio in the London region (eu-west-2) within AWS Free Tier limits. Hosted static assets on S3 distributed globally via CloudFront CDN with HTTPS/TLS enforcement. Built an event-driven Python 3.12 AWS Lambda backend integrated with API Gateway and DynamoDB, utilising atomic updates (ADD) and attribute aliasing (#v) for real-time visitor tracking.
Completed a guided technical walkthrough with Senior IT specialists covering Cisco switch topology and serial console CLI management (macOS screen/TTY). Reviewed 802.1Q VLAN segmentation for isolating investigation traffic, 5G cellular egress routing, and Switched Port Analyzer (SPAN) configuration for mirroring live packet streams into Wireshark for analysis.
